On January 1st, 2013, we're going old skool! We're blogging up in here like it's 2005!
What is your favorite Kool-Aid flavor?
I like the green colored ones.
Do you have a wireless keyboard and mouse?
Do you like it when toothpaste bubbles in your mouth?
No! I use the Arm and Hammer brand to ensure I don’t get the bubbles.
How many songs are on your iPod or MP3 Player?
I would have to find my iPod to know that and I lost it months and months ago. I’ve lost every iPod I've ever owned since the first one in 2007.
Do you save Bed Bath and Beyond coupons?
Yes. The real question is whether I ever remember to use them.
When did you last eat waffles?
I don’t remember, though I did buy a waffle iron a few years ago.
What color is your bed comforter?
What is your favorite radio station?
DC101 in Washington DC; there used to be a great rock station in Savannah when I was stationed there in the late 90s.
What is the best thing to happen to you this year so far?
It’s the first, I’m grateful to wake up healthy!
Anything you’re really afraid of?
Spiders. I am terrified of spiders. Like, wake up from a dead sleep and jump out of bed to turn on the lights and rip apart the bed linens ‘cause a hair tickled my face and I thought it was a spider and then can’t get back to sleep just in case it really was a spider – that kind of terrified.
Have you ever had a really bad haircut?
Just a few weeks ago! I went to a beauty school and though I have the easiest hair in the world to cut, I ended up with backwards layers (long in the front to short in the back, but I had long hair) on one side and no layers on the other. My mom fixed it by chopping off about seven inches. It’ll grow back, right?
Do you like your peanut butter crunchy or creamy?
Have you ever ridden a skateboard?
Does the Superman pose count?
Do you drink enough water on a daily basis?
Yes! I carry around a big purple 33oz bottle that I empty at least twice each day, thrice when I’m being good.
When was the last time you read a book?
Blondes or brunettes?
Usually brunettes...though I do love some Thor and Ryan Gosling. But are they really blondes, or light brunettes? And every once in awhile you find a super hot ginger, like Max Martini.
Can your dad beat you in a race?
Yes. My dad instilled in me the rules of all games with fathers when I was young. Rule 1 – Dad will win. Rule 2 – See Rule 1.
Does your bedroom need cleaning?
Flowers or chocolate?
Chocolate, flowers just wilt :(
Do you prefer giving or receiving gifts?
Definitely giving. I get so excited that I have to give the gift the day of the celebration, otherwise I dance around like a five year old hyped up on sugar and constantly ask the recipient if they want a hint.
What meal do you cook best?
I make a pretty awesome risotto.
Are you a night owl or early bird?
Definitely an early bird. It gets dark, and I’m ready to go to sleep.
Qdoba or Chipotle?
Moe’s! They have more stuff you can add to your burrito and don’t use yucky cilantro.
Roadtrip or flight?
Flight. That way I can read or sleep.
When do you sing?
In the car. Alone. I want to keep my friends and my singing voice would definitely scare them away.
What vaccines have you had?
Whatever ones kids normally get, plus small pox and anthrax thanks to Uncle Sam.
Do you need to return anyone’s phone call?
Probably. I hate talking on the phone, so there’s usually at least one person I owe a call.
How many books are in your room?
I haven’t counted lately, but I’d say ~400.
What did you last eat?
Prime rib sammich – yum!
Who is your favorite teacher of all time?
My high school Spanish teacher :)
Name one of your goals for this year?
As it’s January 1, these are my resolutions: volunteer with more veteran and military organizations, participate in more dog activities, combine those two into therapy visits, and finish two novels.
Ever pop someone else's pimple?
Ew. No. Gross. Seriously?
How long does it take you to fall asleep?
About 4.1 seconds.
What other language do you want to be fluent in?
Oh, I should add Spanish and Arabic to my resolutions also!
Favorite fast food restaurant?
Did you have a weird dream last night?
Yes! It was winter and I was in a house with an Army buddy and his son and we were cooking bacon and ravioli for when his wife got home with their older son. And though they live in Alaska and their Army unit was going to pay for them to go to Florida for spring break, the wife wanted to go to Minnesota instead.
Do surveys really cure boredom?
This one seems to have.
